Victor Khoo 2008-07-30 until 2008-08-02	Somkiet Buri Resort & Spa, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay As described by most other guests, it is like living in a small tropical resort. The setting is lovely with lots of different plants. We even have a squirrel hoping along the balcony timber railing and seen beautiful tropical birds. Aside from that, we found the room quite basic, AC extremely noisy, lighting too dim for the bathroom, toilet bowl stained, shower hand rail very low (fortunately, we are not tall), and one of the reception staff (slightly older than the other girls) very unfriendly and abrupt without any smile (which is unlike Thai custom and hospitality). Also, the restaurant staff at breakfast time have poor customer service. They stood there and don t even bother to serve coffee or tea unless you asked them. The other negative comment is the room safe. Well, you better get it right the first time or you will have to wait a long time before they send someone to your room to fix the lock. The instruction on the safe is poorly written and hard to understand. We travelled a lot and have never come across such an ancient looking safe!	Fantastic and reliable. Have used this service in the past and will use it again in next trip.

Shopping & many restaurants all right there & beach a 5 minute walk Would definately recommend. Value for money	Really efficient. Would definately use again

The rooms are large and clean although no tea/coffee facilities. The accomodation is good value for money and the location excellent. The staff are pollite and helpful. Would definately recommend.
David Richardson 2008-06-13 until 2008-06-16	Somkiet Buri Resort & Spa, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay Our first visit to Thailand was wonderful and our stay at the Somkiet Buri resort was a highlight. If you want luxury mixed in with local flavour then this is the place to stay. Perfectly located, clean and friendly we can highly recommend it. So good we extended our stay twice!!!	The booking service was simple and fast.
CHRISTOPHER STRICKLAND 2008-05-16 until 2008-05-19	Somkiet Buri Resort & Spa, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay HOTEL WAS IN A GREAT LOCATION - JUST ABOUT 5 MINUTES WALKING TO THE BEACH. THE HOTEL ITSELF WAS NICE AND HAD A SECLUDED/PRIVATE ATMOSPHERE. WE HAD THE DELUXE THREE BEDROOM WAS GOOD. BATHROOM WAS VERY NICE. THE FOOD AND SERVICE WERE GOOD. ONLY DRAWBACK AT THIS TIME IS THE CONSTRUCTION NEXT DOOR, BUT ONCE THAT S GONE-NO PROBLEMS. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND TO OTHERS.	QUICK AND EASY. I AM NOT SURE WHY THOUGH THAT THEY MAKE YOU PAY IN TWO INSTALLMENTS.

The pool was clean and in a nice secluded setting. Our upper level room was large and clean w/ a nice balcony. The decor of apple green was a little tacky, but the bathroom was beautiful. However, the bath was shared by a few ants. Both rooms needed more overhead lighting. Breakfast was good and the staff attentive for the most part.... I don t like it when they hover over you...and they didn t. Construction next door was loud, but only noticed it at breakfast. If your just looking for a massage to break up the day and keep trucking...the Spa was over priced....pleanty on the street to choose from. If lounging in luxury is your style....it s very good. Overall, we would refer others and stay again ourselves. Our stay was in the low priced rainy season, but had perfect weather! Shopping and dining were a few steps away and the beach about 5 mins....street vendors could be a bit pushy...with a smile :)

evelyn fletcher. bernard fletcher 2008-05-11 until 2008-05-14	Somkiet Buri Resort & Spa, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay Really enjoyed my stay at this resort beautifull room, pool very shaded but it was cleaned every morning i have nothing negative to say about this resort it,s like being in a jungle i was a bit concerned of insects cause i am a bit scared of them all we saw was 1 frog and 3 lizards a really beautifull resort.We stayed 4days at this resort and then the hotels van transfer to Patong Beach	Everything ran very smooth no problems at all will use again. THANKS SAWADEE
